TRIPLE THREAT!

Our curriculum offers a variety of options for study. MTC offers once a week introductory classes in musical theater or a Specialty Medium; voice, dance, or acting. When we think of the musical theater icons of stage and screen, who comes to mind? Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, and Judy Garland may indeed be on your list.  All of these performers were Triple Threats! In “theater speak”, this simply means they were all trained in dancing, acting, and singing and had mastered an exceptional talent in each one. Whether your child is interested in one of these or excited about all three, we offer something for everyone.

Voice

Musical Theater Center is ready to hear the voice in your child! Musical Theater Workshops introduces your child to a variety of styles of music, as students practice vocal technique and performance. Our vocal program also aims to develop fundamental music literacy skills. Your child will have a blast singing and learning all while developing the confidence needed to sing in front of an audience! 30 and 60 minute private voice lessons are available as well.

Dance

Here at MTC, we are always dancing! With locations around Atlanta, we are able to offer many options for your dancer. Ballet classes are taught in the Chechetti method and are available for many ages and levels. Tap and Jazz are offered a various locations for ages 5 and up. Proper uniforms and fastened hair are required for all dance offerings. A placement class is recommended for students 8 yrs or older.

Acting

It’s time to get up and act out your wildest ideas! Acting classes allow students to embrace their creativity in a encouraging environment. Acting students work each week on developing characterization in both their vocal abilities as well as their physicality. Acting focuses heavily on character development and beginning to bring a script to life, while learning technical aspects of theater such as stage direction and improvisational skills. Weekly class and workshop offerings vary with age.
