In this high energy acting course for grades K-2nd, students will be discovering the basic tools for storytelling. This course primarily focuses on training the students to confidently communicate through animal and adventure themed games and exercises. The class will include team building practices, basic improv techniques, character work, movement study, and introduce them to learning and performing scenes. Acting Adventures will creatively train the students to tell stories in a way that will feel like play!
In this advanced acting course for grades 3rd-5th, students will begin to learn higher level techniques in an exciting manner. The course will focus greatly on film work and demonstrate for the students what being in a movie on set might feel like. During the immersive and entertaining film simulations, students will be exposed to useful acting techniques that will set them up for success in all areas of the performing arts! These techniques include, but are not limited to, character work, scene study, movement study, and basic meisner and stanislavski practices. Students will become more professional, trained, and serious actors while having fun and being creative!
